Bench Surfaces and Kitchen Bench Tops

High Pressure Laminates Bench

HPL is supplied in a large variety of colours and patterns. It is probably the most popular bench product offering a cost effective durable solution. With care a laminate top can last for approx 10 years. The exposed bench edges have a selection of profiles and thicknesses, with a selection of surface finishes available.

Granite Bench and Engineered Stone Bench

Granite is solid rock from a mountain.  Granite is always glossy, hard as rock and looks stunning! Granite is available in a wide range of colours and patterns, mostly 30mm thick bt can be mitred to 60mm.
Engineered Stone is a man made conglomerate of rock and resins, it is equally as hard and generally available in paler colours.

Granite and Engineered Stone needs to be templated after the kitchen cabinetry is installed, with a waiting period of 5 working days to 15 working days for the installation of the bench.

Acrylic and Polyester Bench

This is a 100% man made product and is available in a variety of thicknesses. Some acrylic manufactured tops have a MDF substrate as the base for a thin veneer of Acrylic. This allows for any thickness, waterfall legs can look a solid 100mm! This product is seamless around corners and joins and is bacteria impervious.

Fine lines can be buffed out with a gritty surface cleanser, or polished out. These acrylic and polyester tops are also templated after cabinetry is installed, with a waiting period of about 15 working days.

Stainless Steel Bench

Stainless steel is strong and has an easy to clean hygienic surface. This product is useful in sink and cooking areas. It can be used with other complimentary bench materials which face living or dining areas, e.g. on an island.

Any scratches can be rebuffed for a satin look or simply allow the small lines to blend together.

Timber Bench

In some kitchens the natural warmth of a wooden top is the perfect solution for timeless appeal.

Solid timber tops are best recommended to be made in laminated strips, these support each other to stop warping. They come in several finishes, with natural oil or super hard clear synthetic resins, we have recommendations.

100% waterproof acid and alkaline and impact resistant, and repairable.

They can be supplied in any available timber, choose the harder varieties and consider plantation grown timber.
